Q: How often should I schedule loc maintenance visits?

Most clients return every 4–8 weeks depending on hair growth, loc size, and activity level. Tighter schedules suit faster-growing hair or finer parts, while longer intervals can work for mature, low-maintenance locs.

Q: Can you convert two-strand twists into mature locs?

Yes—two-strand twists can naturally loc over time with consistent maintenance. We can also interlock or palm-roll to accelerate matting while preserving your hairline and preventing excessive tension during the transition.

Q: Are your products safe for color-treated locs and scalp?

We use sulfate-free, pH-balanced products formulated to minimize fading and buildup. For color-treated locs we recommend gentle cleansing, deep conditioning, and a patch test to ensure scalp comfort and color preservation.

Q: What is interlocking and is it right for me?

A consultation is required before booking this service. Price varies based upon the length of hair and desired starter loc technique. Hair is shampooed and locs are established using the method discussed during the consultation.

This service include maintenance and the twisting of locs. Also called “rope twists”. Please select length add on according to the length of your locs.

This service includes the locs being shampoo and maintenanced. The locs are then styled.

Locs are curled with pipe cleaners that can be worn in a style and then removed later for long-lasting curls. Pipe cleaners are provided by stylist.

$100.00

Please book this service if you have 100 locs or less. Hair is shampooed and then maintenance using the palm roll method. A style is not included in this service.

Loc Maintenance/Interlocking

Please book this service if you have less than 100 locs. For those with Microlocs or more than 100 traditional locs please book "Microloc Maintenance/Interlocking". This service includes a shampoo and locs then maintained using this interlocking method. This method is great for reincorporating hair into the loc and giving you more versatility between appointments. We recommend scheduling your maintenance every 6-8 weeks. After 2 hours the price increases at $50/hour.

Love love love this salon! I found em by chance on google and I’m so grateful I did! They do a fantastic job! Very professional, friendly, knowledgeable about hair in general but also natural hair too plus they eat the styles down! I got the flat twist and then corn rows as well and they weren’t tight and still looked really good; got bucu compliments 🥰 Alsooooo you don’t have to wash and condition and blow your hair out BEFORE your appt, why? The atmosphere itself was amazing. You felt welcome. Everybody was so professional and on point. The stylist weren’t just sitting around while the clients waited.
